She's a nice person but a tough teacher. Her tests are difficult and puzzling. She doesn't explain her assignments well. There are lots of group projects. She grades hard. Pretty much all the students in her classes are confused by the work we're given. If you end up taking her class, then good luck.
This class was terrible. We had to attend a lecture once a week and then spend about 1-2 hours every week on a discussion post. We had to cover every reading in our post to get full credit, and even then, we could lose points without any explanation. The tests were tough, and there was no feedback on them, either. This was a horrible class. I do not recommend taking her class.
She's possibly the worst teacher I've ever had. She doesn't treat us with respect and talks to us like we're kids. She makes her classes ver confusing and reads straight from the slides. You can't take your tests home to study because she's afraid we'll upload them, but she oddly lets you take pictures of them.
This professor is awesome. He's been the best teacher I've had in college. He's energetic, fun, and tells jokes all the time. Our three-hour class is always entertaining. He never stops finding ways to help us remember the lesson. He gives us funny memory tricks and tells stories related to the topic. There's no homework, but showing up is ver important.
This professor is knowledgeable about the course. However, this semester, she hasn't thought about us students. We have to watch an hour-long video before every class. Then, she makes us answer clicker questions the whole class instead of teaching. Not to mention, she gives out so much homework it's crazy.
She's the top teacher you could ask for in course 119. We had to watch lectures online before going to class, which took a bit of time. However, it was beneficial when we had to answer lots of questions using the clicker in class. She makes things clear and is very helpful if you see her during office hours. Make sure to take good notes from the ones she hands out. You will have to put in the study time because chemistry isn't easy, but getting an A in her class is doable.
I wouldn't suggest this class. The lessons are often hard to understand and it gets tricky to keep up. The teacher assumes you already know the material without teaching it first. He's strict with grading. So even when you try your hardest, you might not get the grades you'd expect. Putting lots of effort in doesn't always mean good grades. I wish I hadn't taken this class.
This class is easy. There's hardly any work and everyone scores an A. The only drag is that he doesn't reply to emails, and takes forever to post grades, even though they're supposed to be up sooner. But don't stress, you're sure to get an A.
I got an A in the class because I remembered everything from the handouts like dates, lists, footnotes, and names. His lectures are worth it. They've completely reshaped my way of thinking about school, like what I imagine an Ivy League education feels like. Just be prepared to participate in class. If you don't know the answer, make your best guess. He doesn't just let things slide if you don't.
He's the friendliest person I've ever met. He is patient with everyone in the class and tries his hardest for ou to understand. He talks to everyone during class, so make sure you're listening. He's very good at his job. There are lots of assignments online, but it's not his fault.
The class was pretty simple. All you have to do is follow the instructions. Her tasks are precise so I would print them and then check off each item to make sure it's complete. After doing this, I always got an A grade. It's a cool class to take. I liked doing the TED paper.
This professor likes to make her class tough. The Immunology subject is hard on its own. On tests, she tweaks answers from your notes and presents them in a multiple choice or A+C, A+B+C style. You need to know not only the right answer but what makes the wrong answers wrong. The tests, which rely a lot on remembering stuff, are completely unfair.
For sure, this class feels like it's a top-level one. He's a great teacher and knowledgeable. Still, you need to put in lots of effort for this class. There's a good deal of work and stuff to learn can be difficult, especially with a quiz every class. The class takes up a lot of time, with it being three hours long twice a week, and even includes a rat lab. Even though it takes up a lot of time, at least he makes the class enjoyable.
He's the best teacher I've ever had. He's hilarious, full of energy, and loves physics. He knows how to keep you interested in the class. His class was easy. The test questions are multiple-choice from the textbook with only a few unique ones. You have to join his Phys 123 class. You won't be.
He's the ultimate teacher. He honestly cares for his students and truly wants all of them to succeed.
At first, he seemed kind and ready to help. However, the class lacked organization. You end up having to learn everything for the tests on your own. He counts attendance for grades, and the communication is not good. He hardly ever replies to emails. Don't sign up if you're seeking an easy A. Though possible, it brings more stress than a beginner's course should.
This class is tough, no matter what. The good thing is he gives clear instructions. Of course, you'll need to hit the books by yourself. Make sure you do the assignments he hands out, and get a decent study crew. Plus, read the textbook along with the you do it exercises. Honestly, you'll probably pull off a B, or even an A if you're committed. His quizzes offer points for partially correct answers, which is very helpful.
I took the A&P 2 Lab with this professor. Honestly, he was the toughest teacher I've had here. He often gives surprise quizzes and the tests are challenging. Expect a fair bit of homework too. You have to study on your own time if you want to stand any chance of passing. Sometimes, he can be pretty harsh to students. I'm in my final semester, so believe me, he's not the teacher you want if your goal is to succeed.
This teacher truly wants us to get good grades and will go the extra mile to help us understand everything. His quizzes aren't tough and learning from him is a breeze. I'll surely be signing up for another class with him. No question.
He's kind. I thought I would have to do way more writing than I ended up doing. Each week, he hands us an essay to read and then we just have to write a 5-paragraph essay and do a simple quiz about it in the next class. He's not tough on grading. And if you try your best in your work, you won't get bad grades.
