No way am I taking a class with this professor again. It was the toughest time I've had, like, ever. It felt like she didn't care about any of us students. She never let anyone turn in work late, no matter how bad things got. I wouldn't tell anyone to take her class. You'd just be throwing away your money and time.
At first, I didn't think he was a good teacher. But honestly, he's hilarious and can help you succeed if you make sure to attend his class, don't even think about skipping. One cool thing he does is giving extra credit, often when a lot of students decide not to come, which boosts your grade.
I had this professor for BIO 104 online and there was hardly any teaching. Your grade is based on four essays, two lab tasks, and four exams. There isn't a summary or review sheet for the exams. The modules go over hundreds of words and you don't have a clue what you need to study. There's no teaching offered. She's a pretty sad excuse for a teacher.
I've taken courses 140 and 141 with this professor and I enjoyed it. Each week, we either have a quiz or have to write a blog post. Depending on the lesson, we have to read articles, watch videos, or listen to lectures. It's cool and easy. Overall, she's very nice and it's easy to reach her if you have problems. Go with her for your American Institutions need.
He's a kind professor but he finds it hard to explain the course in a way that's easy to get. Get ready for a lengthy midterm that's about eight pages and study for it. If you don't, you won't make it. He counts who's in class only when loads are absent, so if you're there, you get credit. His lessons can be a bit long. On the other hand, the material you learn in this class will be very useful if you're planning to go into strategic communication.
Don't sign up for this class. It's way too much work for a 100-level class. Expect to always be busy with homework, tasks, and observation work. I really wouldn't suggest it.
He's very nice and chill. He does everything possible to help us and tries to make sure we understand assignments.
She's awesome. I had her for three classes 210, 334, and 342. In one class, there's a major group project. However, if you follow the scoring guide, you'll get full marks. The exams come directly from her lessons. So, make sure to write down notes and study them. The tests aren't too hard. She looks out for her students. You should take her class.
At first, this professor might seem a bit weird, but he is an awesome teacher. He talks a lot with us students and loves what he does, which makes his class exciting. He gives us all the information we need. And his tests are exactly like his reviews and quizzes.
Having her as a teacher during the pandemic was tough. She didn't respond to our emails. And when we asked her for clear grading rules, she would talk a lot but not answer our questions. The class workload was heavy. It's too much for a 2000-level class with 17 chapters, 2 quizzes, midterm, final, 4 reports, and an entire semester group project which was a ton of work.
He's an awful teacher. His directions are hard to understand and he takes ages to grade. This would be a pretty chill class if it wasn't for the confusing assignments and projects. Do not sign up for this class, or at least avoid this teacher.
The class was simple. All you have to do is attend, earn your participation points, and complete simple assignments.
Honestly, he's the funniest teacher on our school grounds. He knows how to light up the classroom and is patient. Though, he is known for spotlighting students now and then. So if that makes you nervous, you might want to toughen up before joining his class, just saying. The only downside is there are just three exams that determine your grade, along with showing up to class.
If you need more time to understand a course, this professor is for you. He goes at a slower pace when he lectures. He makes sure all students get the hang of one thing before he moves on to the next. He's got a lot of experience in accounting and tells some amazing stories. He's a good person with a funny way of joking around. Just don't forget to do the homework and quizzes before you come to class.
This professor is awesome. He's all about helping you do your best. If you need, he'll give you extra time on dropboxes, let you try to review tests, and isn't very strict when it comes to specific answers. He also gives you pointers on every task. Plus, it's not hard to chat with him after class. I'd totally say you should take his class.
He's the best teacher I've ever had. he gets how to make Math make sense. Not only does he give tons of examples to help you figure out problems, but he also does a great job of explaining why the answer is right. He puts in the effort to help his students. Plus, with the homework, he lets you try each problem as you need until you get it right for full credit. His practice tests are pretty much just like the real tests. If you get the chance, you should sign up for his class.
If you're not a science major, he's a good teacher for you since he gets that science isn't your major. This class might not mean a lot to you. He does have a strong accent which might make it tough to get what he's saying. But, go for it and jot down what he writes on the board. Most likely, you’ll pass. 9 out of 10 you'll pass the class.
Do not sign up for this course. The professor lacked patience and made unsupportive remarks on my midterm exam like this isn't rocket science. Still, only two students managed to pass out of the whole class. His teaching methods can be perplexing and ineffective. I honestly wouldn't suggest him as a professor. Overall, he's a cranky, ineffective teacher.
This class only requires two papers but it's very hard to have an A. The directions are often confusing and your pre-writing scores depend on how many words you write. I wouldn't suggest taking this class unless you're good at writing.
The material taught in this class is interesting. Unfortunately, the method of delivery is not appealing. There's no doubt that the professor has a lot of knowledge about the subject matter and has a good sense of humor. However, the lengthy 2.5-hour classes can be dull. The professor reads what's on the slides and gives the impression that students should already know statistics. Homework feels like unnecessary busy work and the readings are just extras. I'd recommend you take this course only if it meets a requirement for your major because I didn't learn much from it.
