His classes feel long. His exams are hard, seriously, consider not taking them. He keeps saying his classes are like capstone classes and it's similar to graduate school. Just hearing that made me decide not to proceed with my master's degree. You have to believe me when I say that this might be the toughest class and the hardest homework you'll ever get in college. Good luck, everyone.
The class project was terrific. However, they had to cancel it because of the COVID-19. The lessons are informative and packed with all sorts of videos and images. If you find them dull, you probably aren't reading the textbook. You could skip it though, but why would you want to?
Her lectures are filled with humor. It's almost like you're taking an online class because she's so laid-back and kind.
He was a fair teacher. He always made time to answer questions and was helpful. Tests were directly from what we learned in class and the slides. Homework was done using Zylabs. The class was pretty easy to follow.
I'm happy I'm not the only one who feels this way. These intense reviews are because her class is difficult. I emailed Nirelia about my test score which wasn't posted after two weeks. She didn't respond at all. The problem is the short answer questions she included more than 40 in each test rather than the multiple choice ones. Sure, she's smart and available for help, but this class is wild.
Honestly, I've never been great at chemistry. But let me tell you, this professor is easily the coolest teacher I've had. I was in her class during my first semester. And now, as a junior, she's still my top favorite among all my professors. If there are any negative comments about her, it's probably from students who didn't put in any effort in her class and don't like the grades they got.
He helped me figure out that I wanted to be an English major. He made books fun to read even if I wasn't into them. He was very fair, respectful, and understanding. He might seem like a tough marker, but he's chill and ready to help if you ask.
Her tests can be a bit tough. However, she consistently tells us that the things in the textbook matter more than the questions in her lectures. So, if you remember what's in the textbook, you should be good. We also have weekly projects using Excel and Access, which can be challenging at times. But don't worry, you can always ask the teaching assistants for help if you need it. This class is what you strive to make it. Stay positive and keep frustration at bay.
He's a professor who loves his job. He's great at what he does. I'd suggest you go to all his classes. It will make it easier for you to grasp the material he teaches.
If you're a visual learner, beware of this professor. This teacher doesn't use any visual aids when he lectures, and he often gets off track. I was not happy with how he didn't act professionally, both in how he ran the class and how he behaved. On the other hand, there's no need to buy the book for this class. The class is an easy A. He sends emails of his lectures that he reads from after each class. The quizzes and tests are simple and all multiple choice.
I can't figure out why we even have a teacher for MGT 2180 like him. He's pretty terrible at replying to emails quickly, especially if he thinks the question is silly. Once, I even lost 30 points on a test because of a screw-up he made with the schedule. He's not good at communicating or teaching, I'd rather have a different professor. On the bright side, the tests and classwork are pretty simple if you do them.
He's awesome. He knows how to make his classes entertaining. Sure, he does mark you on how much you participate, but because of how he organizes his classes, it's not hard to say a few things now and then. We do have to do some reading, and there are quizzes based on the reading, but they're not too tough. He genuinely cares about all his students and is always ready to help if you need it. He's seriously the coolest.
I love this professor. She's always excited about everything and it makes you want to try harder. She wants everyone to join in but she never makes you feel silly or not smart. She tells you what you need to do to get better. She can be kind of messy but she always keeps you in the loop. You do a lot of group work in her class. Be ready for a lot of homework as well.
This teacher is not very good.
He's genuinely a good guy. He gets back to emails fast and if you're struggling to hand in something on time, he's got your back. But as a teacher, he confused me a lot and I didn't always understand his lectures. I needed to study hard for this class. On the other hand, just do your homework and study for the tests, you should be all right.
She's unorganized and often doesn't stick to the syllabus. By the end of the term, there were only four grades posted on Blackboard. This meant you had to do well on all of these, or your final grade would suffer. She also took a long time to grade and return tests. Yes, she was a nice person, but I wouldn't sign up for her class again.
She's the top teacher for the course and her classes get full fast. I suggest you take her class and hit every extra help time and talk she provides. And you'll get the material a lot better. She's got a knack for making the ideas stick in your head and building up your knowledge of physics, or your physics muscles as she says.
PSYC 250 is a pretty tricky course. However, this professor made it easier to understand. He's available beyond the classroom and very supportive as well. His pacing is fast, but don't worry because he'll revisit anything you don't get. Beware, his exams are tough, so very important to stay focused during his lessons.
She's relaxed and very helpful to her students. Her online class asks you to write a short, 250-word essay every week just one paragraph, maybe a discussion post sometimes, and a 20-question multiple-choice quiz every month which you'll need a book. Occasionally, instead of writing, she might ask for a video response. I recommend her.
I only have one more month left in this class, but he's a great teacher. If he's teaching any more math classes that I might need later, I'd sign up again. He explains things very well. His lectures were not hard to understand as well. Yes, there's homework every day, but our grades are mostly from our tests. The cool thing is that the tests match the study guides exactly, and he even gives extra credit problems.
