Poor
Professor Hamilla's lectures were engaging and informative. However, the papers he assigned to us were dismaying. You must expect to do 200 pages of reading per week. Participation in class was mandatory. He'll mark your name off on a sheet if you participated on that day. It's a graduate level class that disguised as a cluster course. So, this is probably manageable only if you have a light course load.
Average
I liked Professor Hamilla, he is very smart, a nice guy, and I enjoyed his lectures. However, the workload is frankly insane for a cluster course. I have background experience in the field but if you don't have that I don't think you could survive. Incredible amounts of reading from the dull textbook and vague and immense papers. I cried nightly because of this class. It's 400+ level.
