He was one of the best language teachers I have ever had. He made sure that we understood the "real" meaning of the Spanish words that we were learning. He made sure that we would not get involved in any cultural pitfalls. We very quickly learned how to use real Spanish conversation skills in social situations. It's a lot of work but an easy A.
