Awful

I have to say that Professor Hsieh is such a joke. She keeps saying "this class is a three-hundred level writing course" since day one. But, she seldom taught anything about writing, until she gave bad grades for midterm paper. Also, she had no outline for her course, but a strong bias on students. She's an inconsistent and wannabe professor. Do not take her class.

Awesome

Prof. Hsieh is one of the best profs I've had at Rutgers. She's very helpful and passionate about what she teaches. You'll get a good grade as long as you read a lot. Her lectures help students understand the readings better as well which will really be useful and helpful to write a paper. She's amazing!

Poor

Professor Hsieh and her class is terrible. Her English is horrible as well. You'll hear "you know" a thousand times. She's unbelievably rude to some students. She always repeat the same thing in class and kill creativity in calligraphy class.
