Dr. Mehari gives boring lectures. He reads the slides but you still have to go to class. His tests are straightforward but they get increasingly difficulty. Be sure to read the lecture notes and check the textbook on the detailed stuff.

Mehari is super sweet and funny. His exams come straight from his Power Point slides. He takes up class time to read, word for word, from his lab notes which can be annoying if you get the wrong GTA.

Yohannes T. Mehari is my favorite Biology teacher that I have here at Auburn! He is from Eritrea, so he does have a thick accent which I found entertaining! He is lecture heavy and he mentions stuff in class that are not in the slides so attending class is definitely helpful! He definitely has an international outlook and he includes international issues that are taking place in the rest of the world.

Professor Mehari will loved of the student's. Attend to his class and he will give extra credit for clicker questions. Go to Office Hours and he will give you points back on exam if you back yourself up. The class (Biology) is hard but he cares so much to the students and he is easy to approach. He is a nice guy but prepare to work hard and the laboratory is awesome.

It's hard for me to understand him when he is speaking. His test were very hard and asked questions about small details from lecture. Aside from that, he will also gave quizzes every Friday as class participation grading them basing on accuracy. He is not the best teacher to have especially for a subject as hard as microbiology. I would recommend other professor that is easier to understand.

This professor can be hard to understand at times because of his thick accent, but the class isn't really that bad. He will post the old tests to Canvas, and the new ones are very similar. For the most part, the tests are straight from the slides, but he will add some info from lectures so it helps to go.

I'm not a fan of Prof. Mehari's teaching style at all. Tests are difficult and lecture is boring. He is a good guy but he is terrible at explaining things. If you plan to take him, be prepared to teach yourself everything. To do well, you just have to lecture and review sessions. When studying, his old tests don't help at all.

Dr. Mehari is wonderful. He is very reasonable about giving points back. He does word questions difficultly and makes you apply the information. You have to know more than the slides. Take the LC seriously too because it counts for a good amount of your grade. Go to his office hours as well. He will offer extra credit for answering questions in class or going to the reviews. Also, he will give practice tests.

Prof. Mehari is amazing. I really enjoyed his class. It was hard but if you take notes and read the main points, you'll be fine. You'll need to start studying for the exams a week before. He's very caring but you'll really have to work for your grade.
