"Uncle" Choi as he refers to himself, he is well-intentioned but lacks professionalism. When people don't pick up the material quickly or don't lift their hand to respond, he becomes enraged though. To keep up in class, I had to read the textbook and take notes, which I don't normally do to understand anything. If you have strong self-discipline and can get on his good side, take him. Otherwise, don't.

Professor Choi is a great person. Some students don't like him because he's a little dramatic about student performance, but he actually cares if you're understanding the material or not. Homework can be easily checked online. The tests are exactly as discussed in reviews and bullet PowerPoints. Just come to class early and you'll get on his good side.
