Awesome
Professor Hernandez is a very interesting teacher. He actually adds information or content not in the book. He gives life advices, talks bout relevant topics like economy, stock market, how to live during this pandemic, etc. I wish I could've take him in person. I highly recommend taking him for other classes or in physical classes. Management 1 is a joke. The midterm and homework were very easy. I learned a lot in this class, as a non business major student.
Average
Due to the online nature of the class, there were tons of online assignments and we even had to do a group assignment each week, along with weekly discussion posts. In general, it wasn't too difficult, but I felt like I had a lot of work to do and I didn't learn much from the lectures, but he is a nice professor who cares about his students.
Poor
Under the whole weird circumstances of COVID-19, Professor Hernandez made the final optional. But, he curved down at the same time, like A>95%. What's the point of making the final optional? We understand that it's a difficult time but let's curve it down. I feel like the grades of weekly group assignments depend on your teacher assistant, who's unwilling to give full grades. Avoid this class.
Awesome
Professor Hernandez' class is great. He's a superb lecturer as well. He's very understanding and truly cares about the subject and his students. Also, his work was manageable and interesting.
Awful
Online classes don't mean that, you'll give your students more work to the point of killing them. In Professor Hernandez' lecture class, attendance was compulsory. However, there's almost no teaching in them. His often going off the topic too. We had quizzes, midterm, finals, textbook assignments, then group assignments every week. The textbook is enough though. I don't recommend his class at all.
