Professor Martin is vey knowledgeable about the course. He's very kind and approachable. That said, he has no room for B's. Beware since, he will call you out for unruly behavior or using gadgets in class. His exam has two parts. Part one is 100% from the notes and part two will allow you to use a cheat sheet. If you take this course with another professor, you're doing your life wrong.

Good
He will drop one of the 5 exams and one of the 5 writing assignments, but he will only give you 30-35 minutes to complete each section, so study!!! Although the lectures are tedious, he will inform you of what will appear on the exams. I say you review the words at the end of each chapter as well as the homework questions! He takes a LONG time to post grades tho.

Professor Martin's lectures were dull same as the material. The first week is the worst. The class is from 7:20 to 10:00 pm and he will keep you to 10:00 pm every class. I made an assumption that nobody teaches so late and I was wrong. Remember it well. Also, the tests aren't made to be hard. However, you need some comprehension in taking it. Curves are blessing though. If you're a night-owl, take his class.
