I admit that history isn't my strong suit. Attendance goes towards the curve on tests. He's a very harsh grader. He also expects you to know all dates for tests & essays. ID answers should be the length of a novel as well. For the entire sem, he only has 4 grades. Textbook isn't helpful at all. He tries to make class interesting by making lots of jokes.
Awful
Professor Spears goes on tangents. He's not sure what we're supposed to learn.
Awful
His class is lecture-heavy. His lessons are mostly him speaking, with not much else. He doesn't even use Moodle to help teach. Your grade in his class will be based on two regular tests, a final exam, and an essay you have to write. The tests can be tough as well. There are only a few questions with multiple-choice answers and the rest require a written response. Everything on the tests comes directly from his lectures. So, you better not miss a single one, or you'll certainly fail. And if you're someone who prefers an easy A, this may not be the class for you.
