Poor
very dated in his teaching style made it extremely hard to learn. learn he LOVES to hear his own voice. overall is not effective in the classroom.
Awful
Dr. Wacholtz is a slacker in the classroom. Due to COVID-19, we went online, and instead of creating his own lessons, he used lectures from a California school from years ago. He just did one thing for us: he made tests for us, and most of them were actually incorrect, which is why I always worry that there will be problems during every test
Awful
Professor Wacholtz didn't consider the fact that we had other courses, and I was pretty sure I would fail in class. From the last rating, the week before the finals, he assigned seven 51-minute videos to watch, with unnecessary weekly exams that have been given since we moved to online classes. Seriously, if you need to take Chemistry 106, just find another professor.
Awful
Professor Wacholtz's response to the online transition class during the pandemic was very disappointing. He did absolutely nothing to accommodate students nor make the class online-friendly. He assigned hours of lecture videos from a completely different college and made us do laboratory reports we had never done the week before.
Poor
I had Doctor Waholtz for Chem 106 when we went online due to Covid-19. He did nothing to accommodate the students at all. For a week, he gave us six hours of lectures so that we could only watch his class. Unfortunately, I don't understand anything. Overall, I would not recommend his class.
