Awesome
Doctor Amonette is excellent. He really cares about his students and knows the material well. His lectures go on about 30 minutes. So, he expects you to learn most of the material from the textbook on your own. The exams are difficult and come directly from the book, not from the lecture. There are several group projects that are enjoyable though.

I am an experienced sport, rehabilitation scientist and university educator who is motivated by opportunities to assist athletes, patients, students, and organizations achieve their peak potential. As an educator, I enthusiastically strive to teach students the philosophy of evidence-based practice - the methodology of using information to make educated decisions in programming for athletes, clients, and patients. Professionally, I enjoy assisting sport organizations and rehabilitation facilities in using data to improve and evaluate outcomes. This includes integrating published research, practical and clinical experience, and collecting original data to fine-tune or alter training and rehabilitation interventions. I've consulted with sport teams and rehabilitation organizations to develop standardized data collection, reduction, and archival procedures, using these data to assist coaches and clinicians to review and optimize exercise prescriptions.
