My research focuses on novel behaviors in low-dimensional semiconductors and metals. In particular
I am interested in the interplay between magnetism
optics
and highly-confined wavefunctions to create interesting phenomena
such as optically-induced magnetization
exciton formation in metals
and new quantum states.
