He is honestly a sweet professor. Since he genuinely cares about the students' grade, he would make sure they go above and beyond their potential. His lectures are good, he gives clear grading criteria, and is pretty funny and respectful. I barely attended this class and only studied hard before tests, but I still got a B.

Book isn't really necessary. He gives interesting lectures. To get an A, you have to actively participate in class. Quizzes and exams aren't too bad at all.
