Dr. Collopy is the best professor I have ever had, and I don't even like history. Keep in mind that this is for an 8am class, and I still loved it as much as I do. Very caring, extra credit for attendance, 10 quizzes, and 3 tests.

Mr. Collopy was the best instructor in history. I know that 8:00am classes were boring, but you won't regret taking his class. The class is composed of three exams and twelve quizzes. All were super easy if you will just attend his lectures and take notes. His exams were totally from his lectures. He will also tell you exactly on what you'll need to know. Attendance is mandatory since there is an extra credit involved. What an enthusiastic professor he is.

I was lucky enough to have Professor Collopy for both 105 and 106, he is legendary, and for a great reason. Collopy is very passionate, and his enthusiasm for the subject makes the 8 am lectures worth it. I highly recommend you take him.

Prof. Collopy is such an amazing soul!!! He clearly knows his stuff!!! Classes are pretty easy, but you'll lose credit if you skip class. We only had 3 exams which are all covered in class before exam. Attendance is required, but it's pretty worth it, I swear!!!! Honestly one of the greatest prof ever!

Dr. Collopy is one of the best professors I've ever had!! He really cares for his students and gives outstanding lectures. You will get at least a B if you attend class every day. Simply taking the quizzes seriously and reviewing a little before each exam will earn you an A. For the whole semester, I probably worked for 4 hours outside of class.

Collopy is without a doubt one of my favorite tamu professors, and his 8 a.m. class is the only one worth taking. He is concerned about his students and makes lectures engaging; in fact, he plays music before class to ensure that you are awake. Attendance is required because you lose points on your overall grade if you miss too many, but it's well worth it!

Professor Collopy is very entertaining. He really cares about his students, not just their learning but also their well-being. Attendance is mandatory in his class. However, the lectures were interesting and we sometimes watch movies. The weekly quizzes were online, and the exams contain questions from those quizzes. Overall, he's a real gem.

Professor Collopy is very ecstatic and loves to teach his students. He cares a lot and makes his course easy to succeed. All he asks is that you show up to class because he really enjoys teaching. He also wants us to appreciate American history. And I loved listening to him talk, even at 8:00 am.

Doctor Collopy's class was by far my favorite at Texas A&M University. He cares a lot about his students. Also, he has an interesting background that he likes to talk about. In addition, this course is not challenging at all. However, you must take it because it's mandatory. I'm very sad that my semester with him was interrupted due to the pandemic.
