The professor is a nice and true professor and his lectures are easy to follow. On the other hand, his labs are insanely difficult. The practicals are truly impossible to pass. The lectures are impossible difficult to follow but going to SI will help a lot. The lab is worth HALF of your grade!
Good
The lab is extremely hard. I knew it would be difficult, and it was even worse than I imagined. I suggest really staying on top of the material each week before you go or else the practical will be impossible. As long as you go to lecture, type most of what he says, then study that before the exam, you should be golden.
Good
BIOL 319 is challenging, but Dr. Cohn is an excellent teacher who is pretty knowledgeable and fair! The lab is incredibly challenging because there is too much detail to recall. Dr. Cohn held several review sessions for us and was still accessible when the course moved to online in the middle of the semester. Don't be afraid to ask questions because he really cares for you and wants to assist you.
Awesome
Anatomy is easy, it's just a bunch of material all at once. Professor Cohn's class is quite easy. The key to getting a decent grade on the tests is to pay attention in class. The laboratory is hard. I suggest you start studying the AOIs now. If anything, think of the laboratory as three credits and class as one credit. Overall, I didn't have a bad experience in his class.
Good
Professor Cohn is really fair. His lectures are sometimes dreadful and boring. But it's necessary because that is where all his test material comes from. His exams are fair, as long as he takes the time to conduct his review in advance. Also, be familiar with the notes. The laboratory is a completely different story though. Do study since laboratory is very hard.
