Poor

I didn't like this class because I felt like I was taking a religion class and it's called Challenges of Death. It was really heavy on the religion material. Also, I didn't like the layout of the class. WebEx and Prezi were annoying to have to use.

My name is Walter N. Sisto

and I am currently an Adjunct Professor of Theology at St. Leo University and a doctoral candidate in theology at the University of St. Michael’s College in Toronto

    Ontario

Canada. All requirements for my degree will be completed by May 2013. \n\nMy ultimate goal as an educator and scholar is to inspire my students to think critically

    communicate effectively

and to act morally so as to prepare them to enter the workforce and make a positive impact on society. \n\nI have more than seven years of teaching experience

and have taught students from many diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. Currently

I teach Christian Morality to undergraduate students. One of my goals as an instructor in this position is to create an active learning environment that engages students in a manner that fosters a connection between teaching

    research

and practice. My previous experience as an instructor has provided me with many opportunities to develop and perfect my teaching strategies. \n\nAnother instructional goal of mine is to create an environment in the classroom where students feel safe enough to be honest

yet are still challenged to maximize their learning potential. Throughout my seven years of teaching at the secondary

    undergraduate

    and graduate school levels

I have been diligent in creating and implementing various instructional methods that effectively integrate new technology into my discussions

    lectures

and assignments. My administrators have commented that my classes are creative

    interesting

    interactive

well-organized and highly conducive to active student learning. They describe me as a forward-thinking

    energetic

and hard-working employee. In October 2011

I received the Excellence in Teaching Award by the Notre Dame Club of Greater Orlando Region that was voted upon by my former students.
