It's a struggle to do well in Prof. Parrott's class. He puts very hard questions on exams. MC questions always come down to lots of options mainly because they're very specific; thus, it's really hard to discern which is correct. Also, the whole class relies on taking extremely detailed notes. You'll miss a lot if you zone out for one minute.
Good
Professor Parrott's lectures are generally interesting. He's very sweet and hilarious. But he tends to roam around. Also, he's a very eccentric person, so please be prepared. There's a lot of reading outside the classroom, but this material does not make up the core of the exams. Extra credit is available as well. Literally, this is one of the easiest courses I've ever taken.
Good
I really liked having this professor for my seminar class. You have to read before every lesson and post a required discussion comment. This might seem annoying, but it's useful. Also, there were two essays which he will graded toughly. But if you pay attention to his tips, your writing will get way better. The class isn't simple, but I totally think it's worth it.
