Good

I came up with the term "West Test" because you really have to know your material to pass his exams. That being said, it is totally possible. He does keep his slides vague so that you really have to search for the answers and actually learn. He doesn't make anything easy, but things worth having aren't easy. Do not take him if you are a slacker.

Professor West is a tough teacher, so be prepared to work for your grade. You get what you put in and that's it. That being said, I've taken him for two classes so far despite others warning me not to. I think he is a real gem and I am definitely looking forward to taking other classes with him. I think he preps you well for how university level classes are.

I was told not to take this class, but I felt really ready to start. Now, I ended up having to retake. Studying was never enough. He's very fast paced and he's a tough grader. It's wrong it isn't word for word. Class average test scores were always low. Wouldn't recommend this at all.

Professor West is a very tough grader, even on his extra credit His homework doesn't match what his lectures are about. If you work full time or have other full time obligations, do not take his class.

Prof. West is very smart, but I really feel like he makes things a lot more complicated. Do not take this class esp if you have a full time job or any other class. I honestly take my classes seriously, but this one's pretty demanding. I wouldn't recommend this if science isn't your strong suit.
