Good
Professor Meyer's class is cool. No textbook and 100% lectures. He has extensive background experience in science, same as his father who worked for the Manhattan project. This is the reason why his lectures are very informative and full of interesting stories. He encourages critical thinking and though he may give you a hard time, he's not mean spirited. Participation and punctuality are important.
Awesome
I have the same review for Professor Meyer as what I had for his Environmental 1 class. If you have at least one brain cell and are willing to take a ridiculous amount of notes, then this class will be easy for you. Don't take his class if you're lazy. Since his career is environmental conservation, sometimes you leave the class a little depressed, because of the state of the world. On the positive side, you'll be smarter.
Awesome
When you walk in class, he starts talking and you should take notes. He accompanies lecture with visuals on a slideshow or drawings on the chalkboard. We had no homework but everything he says or draws is worth copying because it's actually testable. We only had 3 exams. I was the only who really took notes in class and the only who thought it was fun. LOL.
