    Coordinator, Veteran's Transition Program

Developed and teach a psycho-educational program to Veteran's and their families that assists them in managing strong emotions and stress, increasing self-motivation, and scripting out difficult messages to decrease communication conflicts. The program is sponsored by The Menninger Clinic and is supported by Mental Health America, Lone Star Veteran's Association, The Worklife Institute, and the Michael E. DeBakey Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Houston. The program was built in collaboration with Dr. Michael Cofield and his partner, Mary Ann Zimmerman who developed the "Road Map to Peace of Mind", a simple cognitive behavioral management strategy to decrease and manage stress.
