If you've got the time to teach yourself math, then go ahead. Missing two classes will get you dropped from the class. DON'T TAKE HIM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES IF YOU WANT TO RETAIN YOUR SANITY.

I took a hybrid Stat with this prof. You'll have to put in work for homework. However, you should get an A, as long as you do all the requirements. I started slacking towards the end, but I still got an A in his class. His exams are pretty reasonable.

Prof. Vitaly failed me despite having to shift to online classes due to coronavirus and having a passing grade on canvas. He doesn't even explain key concepts well!

This teacher is really tricky to understand and unorganized. His classes aren't well-organized. Also, the exams and homework didn't match on his lectures. It doesn't really seem like he knows how to teach everyone. He's kind of arrogant and doesn't consider others' feelings. As a Latina girl, the times I've tried to participate, he was mean and ignored me. You'd be better off staying away from his class.
