Awful
Good teacher. I took her class for Chemistry 99 and I did good. I was expecting to do better in Chemistry 131 reason that I already knew her, but I was wrong. If you did not put an effort to study harder and will not dedicate 100% of your attention in this class, then just don't waste your time. She will push you to work for your grade.
Awesome
I think the reviews about her being a terrible prof are't true at all. She requires students to learn the material out of class and assess their knowledge via group work. HW she assigns will help you prepare for exams. You simply need to fill in the blanks.
Awful
Professor Miller is a bad teacher. She doesn't care about her students. She's lazy and entitled. She'll just show up and do a worksheet. If you don't understand it, then too bad for you. And the exams were way to harder and covers questions we did not tackle. Just go with a real teacher, instead of this useless one.
Awful
Professor Miller's chemistry class is for the beginner. It is not for senior level classes. If you feel like you're some kind of elite because you managed to come over with a bad professor, that's good for you. But it was not worth the stress and humiliation coming from the professor. If you really want to learn and enjoy chemistry, then don't take professor Miller class. Run away from her.
Awful
If a student has straight A's in all of their other subjects save this one, the problem is not with the student. Miller is just concerned about the money. She would rather not put in the effort to avoid teaching under the garb of a sophisticated class with no lectures. Wouldn't recommend taking her at all. There are a lot of better teachers out there who genuinely care about their students.
Awesome
Do not take this if you're expecting a simple A. This is chemistry, guys. Of course, it'll be challenging. Take her class if you want to prove yourself and work hard to achieve something, but not if you're a crybaby who loves to whine and blame others for your failures. SHE SEEKS TO HELP YOU REACH YOUR FULL POTENTIAL. You just really have to work hard consistently!
