Awesome

Professor Jonas is very sweet. She lets you know what format she wants your paper in and the essays are very doable, plus she is not a harsh grader. English is my second language, I got here as a teenager and have been practicing for 8 years. It wasn't easy learning it, but if I can do it, so can you! I am taking her again next semester.

Honestly, buying the textbook was a waste of money because we never used it at all. If you were decent at writing, you'd enjoy the essays. He didn't give homework at all. You won't have to show up in class except for peer editing which I felt was a waste of time. First couple of weeks were only about grammar which I find unnecessary as well. She's pretty cool though.

Awful

This class wasn't helpful for me because I only learned more about paper formatting than writing. She's a tough grader and she's very disorganized. She also comes to class 10 minutes late.

Poor

I took Eng2204 under Professor Jonas and it was a waste of time. We did two thing throughout the semester. And when she grades, it's not a constructive criticism. It's just pointing out how you do it wrong. In addition, we never did anything in class. When we transitioned into online class due to pandemic, it got even worse. If you don't want to work, then take his class, However, be ready to learn nothing that is useful, for your future classes.
