Prof. Akin is an amazing professor. She really wants everyone to succeed because she cares so much about her students. You just have to show up in class and listen to her lectures. Her tests are challenging so you better be prepared. She's also always willing to help if you're struggling. Honestly, she's the best professor for 111.

Professor Akin was great and amazing. She's truly skilled and an expert in the classes she's handling. I'm impressed of how kind and committed she is with her students, whenever asked. There were times that she met with the group at 9:00pm, in the library. I worked hard, but this was a great course though.

Professor Akin is the best in the Mathematics department. Math is notoriously difficult at Duke University and many professors try to make things impossible. However, she really cares about helping her students learn. If you have to take a math class here and she's teaching, take the chance to take it with her instead of any other teacher.

Professor Akin is the best math teacher I've ever had. She really cares about helping her students do their best. She's always available and willing to help. Her homework is graded but it's really useful for exams and studying the material. And if you're confused, I suggest you attend the lectures.
