Good
Sweet and caring. The 4 books that are required reading are far too much. I got A on the tests.
Good
Dr. McInnis is a good. I liked her a lot. Her lectures are very specific. There is no textbook. You must attend the lectures to Ace the class. She talks very fast, her exams are very specific.
Average
Don't miss any lectures! No textbooks to go by.. all tests are based on lectures. The tests are extremely specific and deal with details from lectures so pay attention. There are many true/false questions which can be tricky. Fast talker and quizzes on readings you must do on your own.
Good
Dr. McInnis is an outstanding professor who provides very nice presentations. Her tests are hard, but she provides plenty of outside assistance. If I had just studied more, I would have obtained a better grade. Overall, it was a very fun and exciting class of history to be in.
Good
I took the class of Professor McInnis for History 105. Luckily, I'm about to finish her 106 class too. She's very positive and such a lovely person. She made her lectures interesting and really gets you into what she is talking about. If you take her class, expect that you will read selected books and quizzes will be given after. There were three exams and no finals on her class. She usually does film viewing in addition to our learning.
