Awesome
Prof Frankel is a remarkable teacher. She is lenient during class and very caring. We always ended class early when I took her in the summer. We watched a movie that related to the play we had to read and we even watched some funny SNL youtube videos. The tests were just timed essays, which pretty much lasted the whole 3 hours of class time.
Good
Attendance isn't necessary in this class. Her lectures are boring! Grade comes from essays, grammar, and short book journals. She also makes sure that everyone understands everything well. However, she's a little smart-mouthed, so she can also be annoying. For essays, she's knit-picky, but you just have to do what she wants to get a good grade.
