Prof. Rose gives a heavy workload. Class involves online discussions, freewrites, weekly CREs, and the term paper (including exploratory paper, peer review, peer review response feedback, 1st submission, TA response feedback, and final submission). All of which are for grades. I wouldn't recommend taking more than 3 courses while taking this if you want a good grade.

Rose is the worst professor I've ever had. He does not care about his students in the slightest. There are insane amounts of readings and papers. His lectures are useless and boring, but have a 5% participation mark. He is very strict about deadlines and will not accept a paper that's even one minute late. I don't know why SFU doesn't get another professor for this course.
