At 17
I became A+ Certified and founded a small part-time IT services company. At first
it specialized in computer repair
virus removal
data recovery
computer upgrades and basic networking. However
as it began to acquire growing commercial clients
this shifted to more complex services. I provided services include business IT consultation
infrastructure management
business analysis
server deployment and configuration
web development
software engineering (including multi-threaded networked software)
and advanced networking. Leaving this job to obtain a Master's and Doctorate (a full time commitment) was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made.
