Professor of Management
Primary teaching responsibilities in, Organizational Behavior/Theory, Statistics and
Quantitative Research Methods, Human Resources Management, Total Quality
Management, Strategic Management/Policy/Decision Making, Principles of Management,
and International Management. Courses taught include traditional courses as well as
compressed/intensive courses, internet/distance education-based courses and TTVN courses
(distance education classes via closed-circuit television). Responsibilities include class
preparation, student evaluation and advisement, curriculum review and development, and
the development and management of internet-based and distance education courses.
Dean - College of Business
Created and manages an institutional e-book program. This is an innovative program which incorporates academic freedom with providing (relatively) low cost access to required course material on the first day of classes.
Assistant Professor of Management
Courses included both
graduate and undergraduate level, traditional semester classes as well as concentrated
weekend classes in: Organizational Behavior, Principles of Management, Human Resources
Management, and Business Strategy/Decision Making. Responsibilities included traditional
teaching duties as well as developing and teaching executive-level (EMBA) courses, and
graduate-level (MBA, MS-Human Resources, and MS-Management) courses.
Manager of Research & Technology
. Responsibilities include
program evaluation, grant writing, planning, coordinating, researching, market/client data
collection and statistical analysis of both primary and secondary data; data interpretation and
policy development and recommendation, questionnaire development and administration;
development and evaluation of a state-wide database system in the state of Texas; hardware
and software troubleshooting; Local Area Network administration; use, management and
administration of local and internet-based software applications as well as several
proprietary database applications. Additional responsibilities include developing training
curriculum for the use of industry-based software application and delivery of the program
content via the internet to eight program sites, statewide.

Senior Research Associate/Grant Specialist
Responsibilities
included: developing research protocol; planning and implementing original, cross-cultural
and ethnically diverse, educational and policy research; reviewing, analyzing, and
interpreting data; downloading, manipulating, and interpreting state and federal educational
databases; questionnaire development; program development and evaluation; researching
grant prospects; and writing grant proposals.
President and consultant
include program development, program evaluation, grant writing, research, database
management, survey development, statistical analysis, reporting, and training for local and
regional nonprofit organizations.
