Mr. Wilson specialized in business torts, toxic torts, construction defects, product liability, medical malpractice defense, commercial contracts, insurance and railroad law. During his tenure with the firm, he received several awards including being named as one of The Ten Most Dependable™ Litigation Attorneys in California for 2008 as determined by market research firm Goldline Research, being named to the 2007 list of Super Lawyers of Southern California, and being listed by Super Lawyers, Corporate Counsel Edition magazine as among the top five percent of attorneys in the country specializing in business litigation. Mr. Wilson also achieved the highest available rating for professional excellence from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Professor Wilson came to Biola University with over 30 years of experience as a trial attorney, during which time he handled major cases on behalf of the business community. He was named as one of The Ten Most Dependable™ Litigation Attorneys in California as published in Forbes Magazine, the list of Super Lawyers of Southern California as published in the New York Times and Los Angeles Magazine, and the top five percent of attorneys nationwide specializing in business litigation as published in the Super Lawyers, Corporate Counsel Edition magazine. He is the author of The Casebook, a textbook for use in undergraduate business law classes, several articles discussing legal issues facing the business community, and several of the appellate court cases in which he has participated have resulted in published opinions in California. Professor Wilson remains an active member of the State Bar of California practicing in Orange County, California. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at Biola University in Business Law, Human Resource Management, and Organizational Ethics.

Mr. Wilson was one of the founding partners of the firm, and specialized entirely in litigation. He focused on providing legal service to the business community, including the successful defense of a federal multi-million dollar RICO/securities fraud jury trial, the defense of director and officer claims, the representation of numerous automobile and ATV manufacturers, and the defense of contractors and subcontractors in construction defect cases. Over the years, he also litigated several cases on behalf of physicians, hospitals, and the railroad industry. For nine years, he was the Managing Partner of the firm, and was in charge of all law firm human resources issues including hiring/firing, discrimination, sexual harassment, diversity, employee privacy, employee/management relations, and compensation. Mr. Wilson also co-authored the firm’s Employee Policy Manual. During this time, he also served on the Panel of Arbitrators of the Orange County Superior Court, and was a Delegate to the California State Bar Convention.
