If you are familiar with Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)
Day Hab programs
community group homes
substance abuse programs
public mental health
mental retardation programs and the like
then you are already familiar with a lot of what we do. Lakes member counties include: Camp
Delta
Ellis
Franklin
Hunt
Kaufman
Lamar
Navarro
Rockwall
and Titus Counties. Lakes Regional Community Center serves its 12 member counties through 400 professional service provider employees
and is designated as the state IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) authority for all 12
and as the Mental Health (MH) authority for 7 of those counties. We provide Substance Use services for most of our member counties and also provide concurrent parole and continuing substance use services through TCOOMI. When my son was diagnosed with autism at an early age
this is the organization that stepped into the breach
giving my wife and me some much needed hope. Lakes represents a group of people who quietly serve something greater than themselves. and I have always been proud to be a just a small part of their mission.
