My name is Dr. Tiy-E Muhammad (Ed.D., LPC, CPCS, NCC) literally the most interesting man alive, so I would like to believe. As a Licensed Therapist (GA009769), Vegan Consultant, Life Advisor, Author, Motivational Speaker, Educator, Writer for Marriage.com, and Spiritual Coach (C.A.S.E.S.), I have my hands occupied yearning to save the world one person at a time. Full-time husband and father, my life is dedicated to fulfilling my Godly purpose.
As an educator by Desire, I have taught at several universities throughout the U.S. By Heart, I am also a Spiritual Relationship Adviser, Vegan Consultant, Motivational Speaker, and Radio & TV Personality. My passion is what I have spent decades doing; advocating for plant-based diets, fitness, and healing relationships through teaching effective communication.
I have been blessed to be a part of some of the most successful franchises in television history, “The Ricki Lake Show,” TBS’ “The Real Gilligan’s Island,” “MTV’s Made,” ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ Bravo’s “ManSwers,” and more. My relationship advice has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Essence, Jet, Ebony Magazine and more.
I am from the South-Side of Chicago (and YES, I AM A HUGE CHICAGO CUBS FAN), and I decided early in life to become a change agent. The first in my family to pursue higher education, I received a B.A. in Political Science, and M.S. in Educational Psychology from Eastern Illinois University, M.S. in Sport-Exercise Psychology (Argosy University) and an Ed.D. in Community Counseling from Argosy University. I am an Air Force Veteran, a member of the Prince Hall Affiliated Masons, and a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
In addition to having written five books on wellness, self-care, and lrelationships, I have taught at the university level in Atlanta, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Los Angeles.
