Associate Curator
As the Associate Curator, I oversaw the operations of four museums (Historical Museum, John Diefenbaker House, Rotary Museum of Police and Corrections, and the Evolution of Education Museum) under the auspices of the Prince Albert Historical Society, a nonprofit organization. Everyday duties included the training of volunteers and staff, collections management, Specific projects I undertook was to increase the Society's public profile through the expansion of their social media presence and public outreach activities. These projects resulted in increases in both the online presence and physical attendance at all four museums. In addition, I founded the Society's external fundraising and granting program to support revitalization and collections management initiatives. These efforts successfully obtained substantial grants ($5,000 to $25,000) from provincial and federal governments in addition to private corporations.
