Poor

I would not recommend taking Professor O'Neil's class because if I had the choice I would never take it again. He is not great at teaching, and he expects a lot of his students without giving any help or resources on his end. Other issues with this class are the lectures are boring, he is hard grader, he only gives three assignments, he doesn't use blackboard, and he doesn't reply to emails.

Good

It's a writing intensive class so there's a good amount of essays that are assigned, but as long as you take notes during the lecture it really isn't that difficult. You're given a lot of good info in an interesting way. I'm not too much of a history person either but I did enjoy the class. Very funny and blunt.
