My teaching areas currently include foundation and advanced landscape design skills, sustainable sites, landscape business management and project estimating. With special topics in landscape ecology, ecological design, stormwater management and digital visualization. My research interests work towards understanding and implementing sustainable design and planning in the built, rural and natural environments. My background in both landscape architecture, landscape management and urban planning has cultivated design, planning, analysis, project management skills helping to create and sustain environmentally rich and sustainable places.
