Professor Yancey is a really great. He doesn't make the topics challenging. Study the PowerPoint he posts online, the best way to prepare for the exams. Put more effort into labs because it's worth 25% of the final grade. I would recommend him 100% to take his class.

Professor Yancey's class was the easiest I've ever taken in college. There were three multiple choice exams that can be completed each in ten minutes. He's a good teacher, but he's very quit and a little boring. I slept in most of his lectures. However, he's very passionate and you will learn a lot of practical information about Geology from him.

Good

Professor Yancey was very passionate about Geology. However, his class is boring. On the other hand, the exams are very simple and there is no homework, only three exams. And even if I stopped going to class for about a month, I still made it. Overall, it's a great choice of class for an easy A.
