Good

I had Prof. Boone for ISTM 250. His lectures are interesting and he’s really a solid prof, but he has a fast pacing. If you don’t have prior knowledge in programming, this can make 250 difficult. I suggest you learn programming basics beforehand, practice a lot, and have a solid study group. Do not let the reviews scare you!

Poor

I took Professor Boone's course, which was similar to the level of difficulty as my accounting 327 class. If you plan to take this course you need to know some sort of coding before taking it, this class works on the assumption that you know basic coding.

Awful

Prof. Boone's class is very hard. I did well in 210 but it actually had no correlation to 250. He'll expect you to know how to code which isn't actually taught in 210.

Poor

Wouldn't recommend this class at all! I literally had to teach myself everything!!! Lectures are pretty helpful and interesting, but homework and tests are totally different. Students would have to stay until late at night to work on the HW. He gave partial credit on exams, but students still did terribly.
