Recognized as an enthusiastic team player and passionate educator. Committed to teaching the importance of branding strategies to help market music and build artist brands.
After nearly 17 years with the Country Music Association I left the organization in the Fall of 2013 to fulfill a dream of teaching by joining the faculty of the Department of Recording Industry at Middle Tennessee State University. I currently teach Marketing of Recordings as well as Digital Strategies for the Music Business and look forward to class every single day.
I am a proud graduate of the Leadership Music program and continue to be active by serving as the Class of 2012 Lead Agent and as a member of the Record Company Day Committee. I am also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Country Music Association.

While in my post as VP of Marketing at CMA I oversaw all marketing, creative services, and research efforts for the CMA Awards, CMA Music Festival and CMA Country Christmas events and television specials, including broadcast, digital, radio, out-of-home and print initiatives. I worked closely with ABC Television Marketing, Synergy and Affiliate teams, as well as other event partners and CMA's Board of Directors, to build and implement promotional and brand-building opportunities for all CMA properties. I managed a team of 10 and loved watching them grow professionally.
