Awful
Really a vampire of a teacher, draining the energy from his students through unorganized slides and poor grading. The tests are all done in groups, there is a group paper as well as a group presentation. While she does state that the grading is done off of a rubric, there are no point values given on the rubric. Hostile and unapproachable. Would not take her class again.
Awful
Professor Preston-Cunningham is very vague on her expectations and wants in her assignments, as well as her projects. She's a tough grader on papers and assignments too. She seems not very approachable, so the TA will be their if you have any questions. Make sure to clarify everything you do with TA. On the other hand, exams were very easy as long as you studied, read the book and paid attention to lectures.
Awesome
I heard that Professor Preston-Cunningham was tough and didn't work with students. This couldn't be more untrue. The material in this class is very interesting. And anytime I had a question that I could not find in the syllabus or assignment details, she was very responsive. Just follow directions and ask questions then you'll do fine. She's a great professor and I'm expecting an A in her class.
