Dorm Parent
• Provided a nurturing, structured, and enjoyable experience for eight high school boys who were apart of the boarding school program.
• Enforced the guidelines and standards of Harding Academy as described in handbooks.
• Spent time daily with each student in the dorm and helped counsel the student through spiritual and emotional decisions and struggles
• Maintained a personal interest in the spiritual decisions of each student and maintained accountability for the students participation in church activities and spiritual well-being
• Enforce consequences for misbehavior and helped the students maintain both their dorm rooms and all common areas with regard to cleanliness and repair of damages.

Youth & Family Minister/ Children's Minister
I ministered to the teens, taught class, organized retreats, led singing, and also ministered to the 1st-5th graders. Here are a few more specifics:
• Prepared and taught weekly and bi-weekly Junior & Senior High classes
• Planned retreats, missions trips, activities, and other events throughout the year
• Preached monthly at Sunday morning and evening services
• Led singing in worship service on a regular basis
• Spear-headed the organization and implementation of special events and outreach events like Vacation Bible School, Super Saturday, Trunk-or-Treat, etc…
• Planned events and devotionals for the Children’s Ministry on a monthly basis
Youth and Family Minister
I help parents teach and disciple their teens. I also teach Bible class and obtain and equip teachers and ministry helpers. I also work with the parents to minister to the youth on a well-rounded approach of worship, fellowship, discipleship, service, and evangelism. I also help the teens to discover their spiritual gifts so they can find their place to serve within the local congregation and God's kingdom abroad. Here are a few more specifics.
• Increased youth group from 50 to 80 students in 6 years in a church of 575
• Transitioned the ministry from a youth ministry to a family based ministry.
• Created and implemented an online file sharing resource that over 20 youth ministers from 4 states take part
• Implemented training course for Bible school teachers and developed teachers to lead teen classes
• Prepared and taught weekly and bi-weekly Junior & Senior High and Adult classes
• Regularly provided parents with spiritual and cultural resources to connect with youth
• Hired, trained, and managed youth interns during the summers
• Administered and organized service projects, special events, and outreach activities for the Cabot community
• Preached monthly at Sunday morning and evening services and organized regular youth-led worship services
