Good
I'm not sure what the other comments are about. Lynch is very gentle with his students. "In the ten or so years I've taught this, I've had ten students fail," he said on the first day. Homework is easy. His exams are similar to a game of Jeopardy! There are lots of difficult questions but there's usually a hint hidden somewhere that makes things a little easier. M. Frazier, his TA, is a tough grader though.
Awful
Lynch isn't a very good professor. The homework he assigns is not particularly difficult, but the tests, even though they are taken home, are dreadful. Since the tests are more like an English essay than an ethics test, the grading is quite inappropriate. Unfortunately, he has been the only one teaching 355, so there isn't much of an option when it comes to replacing him.
