My professional experience centers around assisting individuals, families, organizations, and communities in finding creative solutions to the challenges they face through education, advocacy, and ethically-minded clinical practice. I current work to achieve these goals through social work and through higher education.

I provide individual and group therapy, as well as case management services in a residential substance abuse rehabilitation facility.
My duties include:
-provide assessment, treatment planning, individual and family psychotherapy, and case management services for a caseload of 5-7 individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder
- facilitate psychotherapeutic, psychoeducational, and self-help groups 4-6 times per week
- provide support and promote community standards in a 50-bed facility
- develop and provide educational programming for clients and their families
- facilitate psychoeducation and self-help groups for families of individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder
- participate in the agency-level diversity committee projects and programs
- provide opiate overdose prevention training to individuals and families

Advanced Practice Clinician

I provide individual counseling, group therapy, family interventions, and case management services in a fifty-bed residential rehabilitation facility for people with addiction.
I work with the agency-wide diversity team to develop training, community engagement programs, and policy recommendations to improve services and agency culture in areas related to human identity and diversity and cultural humility.
I also serve as a peer coach for H.E.A.R.T, the agency's service excellence model.
MST Therapist

I collaborate with a team to provide home-based support services to families with adolescents at-risk of entering the criminal justice or foster care systems. Multi-systemic therapy is an evidence-based model that adopts a systemic approach to behavior change. MST focuses on empowering caregivers to alter their adolescents' natural ecology to drive them toward making more responsible and pro-social decision.
My duties include:
- providing intensive, short-term home-based therapy for families with adolescents who exhibit sever behavioral problems
- ecological and multi-systems assessment of youth behavior and family functioning

- collaborating across multiple systems, including individuals, families, schools, and community organizations

Instructor
I provide instruction and support to a cohort of students in the online MSW program, as well as serve as a faculty liaison among students, their field placements, and the Social Work program.
I also design, implement, and oversee online courses for the MSW program. I have taught courses on human behavior in the social environment and research in social work.
I strive to help students to appreciate the value of theory, and to apply it in their professional practice.

Podcast Production Associate
I served as a project manager, overseeing the day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of the production of more than forty podcasts.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee podcast production at all stages in the process and take steps to ensure that tasks are completed on an appropriate timeline
- Assist in coordination of scheduling.
- Contact potential presenters to request interviews.
- Serve as primary contact person for podcast business with presenters, interviewers, Podcast Committee, and third parties.
