Prof. Barwick has a good sense of humor. He's very funny! His lectures are very specific and interesting. You'll really have to go to his lectures and finish homework though. He also makes most knowledge points simple. His homework actually helps the students to master in those field. Be prepared for the exams because they are very hard. Dont panic though

Prof. Steven is one of the worst teachers I've taken at UCI. Exams and quizzes were tough! His lectures aren't interesting at all. He's simply walking around and reading off notes. He isn't helpful at all. He's also very rude!!! I honestly think he's unprepared to teach.

Good

Prof. Barwick's lectures aren't so helpful for preparation in midterm and final. He also doesn't curve for the whole class. Midterm and final are very hard. Final is more difficult because it covers more materials than the midterm, so make sure to study hard. His lectures are inspiring though.

Poor

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I had to self teach myself every single topic that was covered in class using YouTube, because lectures were so abysmally bad. Quizzes were generally easy when you got the basics down. However, exams needed ingenuity and creativity to solve. These are the hardest tests I've taken hands down. The lectures were uninteresting too. Honestly, this is not a joke.
