Good professor and clearly can teach the material. Goes on tangents. Tough grader but it is his way or the highway. Very heavily regulated so there's not much leeway. He does his best to help.

Professor O'Leary is a fun instructor who uses true models when clarifying various points. He doesn't utilize a great deal of powerpoint and spotlight's more on going over the schoolwork and in class issues. He isn't extraordinary at addressing questions, yet his class is very laid back

I have taken Prof. O'Leary for both GB112 and 212. He is a fair grader. He will cold call on people for answers to homework and in-class problems but actually almost always has the answer up on the board. If you get it wrong, he will never call you out. TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN.

Average

Prof O’Leary is fine. He likes to offer help but that’s because he isn’t good at teaching the material. You’re going to have to do most of the work independently if you want to do well in 112. I wouldn’t recommend taking him.

Awful

Prof. O'Leary is great as a person, but not so much as a professor. He won't go in depth with the power point notes given unless someone asks questions in class. Also, he won't really answer questions most of the time. There was a girl in my class who had to explain and answer questions that people asked.
