Great guy, loves his job, his class is very hard. Professor Tafrov Biology 101 class is very hard but he is a very nice Bulgarian man with a thick accent. Teaches well but the material was hard for me to understand. The laboratory portion are very much easier than the lectures. His lectures are long, boring, you must read the textbook to pass to his class.

Awesome

Tafrov is a fantastic laid back professor, and is very clear on his expectations. It's a biology class, so you have to study, however the review sheet will be uploaded before the quiz/exam. I absolutely recommend this class.

Poor

Prof. Stefan is an amazing person, but he isn't a good prof. He has a thick accent and it's hard to understand him. I reached out to him multiple times for help and he would only always say "study center". I wouldn't want to take him again.

Good

Prof. Stefan has a thick accent. It's such a struggle to understand him most of the time, but he's pretty caring! You can see that he doesn't want anyone to fail. I suggest you really take good notes. He grades on a curve as well. Let him know if you are having a problem. He's really understanding!
