Currently helping figure out what tomorrow is all about -- education-wise -- at The Learning Partnership, which designs and delivers experiential programs that cultivate entrepreneurial thinking, problem solving and communication skills in children from K-12.
Highly experienced education/higher education specialist with more than 20 years in policy-making, research, program evaluation, workforce preparation and training, strategic planning, university-level teaching, strategic communications, stakeholder relations, government and media relations, and fundraising, in the local, provincial, and institutional contexts. I have worked in access for low-income students and students with disabilities to college and university, credit transfer, funding including tuition policy, student aid design -- including the 2017 OSAP transformation -- high school to PSE transition issues, accountability, metrics and system design. PhD (2001) in Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. At TLP, I oversee program and student evaluation, help craft the story of our impact on student learning and the economy, and am responsible for the design and execution of the organization's government relations strategy.
CEO and Gallery Director
Together with founding partner Angelina MacNeill, I established the Rebellion Gallery and Art Academy in Toronto, Ontario. Originally located at Eastern and Knox, we are now at 1495 Gerrard Street East, with a programming focus on children. Running a full suite of after school and Saturday morning programming (activities including drawing, sketching, cartooning, painting with acrylics, painting with water colours and crafting).
