I took both 221 and 348 of Professor Emre's class. For 221, 4 essays were assigned, which were mostly long summaries of chapter material, and a PowerPoint presentation, which was also a chapter summary. This class was relatively simple. The 348, on the other hand, was rough. 3 essays that are evaluated are quite difficult. It's a difficult class, but very interesting. Just be prepared to write.
