Dr. Guan is little difficult to understand by her accent but If you used to listening to East Asian people you will be fine. Her accent is not too heavy but the way she pronounces things It's funny. Ready to help students. Be mindful because she calls out people who don't do their work. Generally open minded. Also provides several extra credit opportunities.

Professor Guan is fantastic. Her lectures were clear and concise. Her quizzes and exams were based on the study guide she provides. Overall, I've never had a teacher who was willing to help when I didn't understand the material.

She really looks out for her students and wants them to do well. If you don't let her know you need help, she'll think you're doing okay. Her class isn't tough, just try and ask a lot of questions. Also, she gives quizzes that are very similar to the homework, and her tests are exactly like the study guides. If you need more help, just go and see her.
